AIP training Sol’Ex event
Vaison-La-Romaine 2023
I was lucky enough to be able to participate at the end of September 2023 in a special Sol’Ex course organized by A.I.P.(Astro Images Processing) led by Christian Buil, the creator of this astonishing spectroscopic instrument and Valérie Desnoux who created the INTI software which allows the image of the sun to be reconstructed from the spectrohelioscopic scan. It was an opportunity to meet them and share our experiences with the enthusiastic participants.
On the morning of October 1, conditions were very good for getting good scans of the sun. Fine details are visible both on the surface of the sun and on the prominences.
